Very nice rooms, staff was also helpful. Solo traveled as a woman and felt safe in the hotel, surrounding area wasn’t the worst, would not go out at night alone though. beautiful view would definitely stay again!!
Room was clean and had a nice view of the city. It’s about 10 minutes walking from the subway station. There is a speakeasy on the bottom floor and a rooftop bar on top. Overall, it’s a little less convenient than staying in Manhattan, but it wasn’t too bad.
Given the prices of a room in NYC, this place is a relatively good deal. Staff were great, room clean, nice view of the Manhattan skyline. However, walking there at night was through an industrial area with nobody around (little scary). I took subway to get there, but not an issue if you arrive by a vehicle.
The property was quite a surprise, because the area can read a little rough, and the lobby was under construction, I did not expect anything nice when I went up to the room. The room was beautiful and appointed in a very lovely way. Bed was super comfortable. All of the toiletries were top-notch. The restaurant on the rooftop, served excellent tacos on Tuesday. I was so pleasantly surprised.
Loved staying here. The floor to ceiling windows were everything - could see the Empire State Building from my room. I was on floor 11 in the newly renovated king room and I didn't want to leave, it looks exactly as pictured. In recent months I've had a bit of trouble finding clean, affordable, and nice accommodations while I've been in town for business but this was not one of them, I had a great experience and will definitely be back! They have lemonade & fruits in the lobby which was nice. On weekends, there's lots of people that head to the roof top, so I could hear it at night but I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Staff was super nice and housekeeping was really consistent which was great. Definitely recommend, and don't understand why there's bad reviews.
Amazing city skyline views! Amazing rooftop bar with all around views! Comfortable room and spacious! Props to the amazing and friendly staff too! Would stay here again!!
