I’ve stayed here when the property wasn’t under construction and it was exceptional, however, this visit missed the mark. Renovations forced a slow/hot elevator ride to a make-shift lobby which was a major bottle-neck. There once was a bar & lounge overlooking Times Square that was awesome, but now it’s all blocked-off. I was told by Reception that the construction would be completed fall of ‘25. Aside from that, the TV remote in our room didn’t work well, the rooms smelled musty, the HVAC was loud (summer, so AC was working hard), the sink and shower drains were slow to drain, and housekeepers forgot to empty the refrigerator from the previous visitors. It’s all very nit-picky, but you’re paying for an experience and this visit just wasn’t on-point.
