Checking in was not it! Lady is on the phone, she never acknowledged us nor welcomed us Unprofessional, she is on her cellphone the whole time while checking us in Never were given the wifi code or advised of any amenities if there were any It is like we did her a favor for booking this horrible hotel

The hotel itself is nice. Smelled clean. Comfortable bed. BUT, we had booked last minute due to a flight cancellation. Upon arrival we were checked in, dropped our luggage and headed out to dinner. When we returned, the front desk agent notified us that Expedia had not yet paid them, to which I responded with proof they had taken the funds and the booking was live, I suggested she contact them to verify. An hour later she was cAlling my room, and at 10:30 pm she and two separate gentleman were banging at my door demanding payment. Completely unsettling and unprofessional. Mary made our stay extremely uncomfortable, I gave her the additional payment paying double for the room, just to be left alone. The next morning Mary stood her ground saying Expedia had not paid her- as soon as I reached out to Expedia, I got a return call from Mary stating she was sorry for the inconveniences that she had received the process payment from Expedia and would be refunding the additional fee. Good LORD! I will not return.

Staff provided fresh towels everyday. There was no daily housekeeping of the rooms. Room had iron & ironing board. Front desk did not have any either, Bed was the worst bed I’ve ever been on.

I was pleasantly surprised by this 2 star hotel. I had only stayed at 3 and above. For a hotel room at this price point, I thought it was a great find. It’s down by the World Trade Center which is nice if you want to explore that part of New York, but it’s a bit out of the way for mid- and uptown. BUT there’s a subway station right in front of the hotel. Plus there’s a really nice 24-hour deli right next door. The staff was super friendly. I used to always stay at the New Yorker, but this may be my new place to stay for my random trips to NYC.

Needed an affordable hotel near the conference and discovered this one. It's right next to the Courtyard Marriott and less than 60 steps to the WTC. Quiet by NYC standards and the staff made sure to take care of you and also give you privacy. I will be staying here again.

Its a 1.5 star Hotel. Everything is cheap , from lighting to walls to beds. Positive aspects: spacious rooms, rooms are clean. If this was the cheapest option I would understand, however it was $250 per night! Price should be $100 per night. If you just need a simple place to put your head this would do. Anything else, nah.

I was standing at the door for about 10 minutes waiting to be let in and could see them at the front desk as I rang the doorbell and out was cold outside. One of the receptionist couldn’t speak English so the other was doing everything and appeared overwhelmed. I get to the room and it was filthy. I had to put my stuff down and run to a speaking engagement and I came right back and checked out. I did not stay. The floor was sticky, counters and closet visibly dirty, hair in the shower on the floor, urine on the toilet, dirty shower door and bathroom counters. You can see a water leak in the ceiling and there were random puddles of water on the floor. Dust and dirt on the chair like they didn’t clean at all. AC/Heat unit too high on the wall to reach. Fridge and microwave dirty. Someone was drilling on the side of the wall next to me. Nothing clean, it was uninhabitable. I checked out of room 27 and didn’t stay, and I contacted customer service to request a full refund.

City view was a lie. It was an internal courtyard with construction starting 7am. Bathroom shower was dirty with hair in it. medicine cabinet was rusted inside. Walls were dirty. Very noisy all night with other visitors. Zero decoration, it felt like a prison cell. A little decoration would go a long way but I feel like this place won't be around long. Very sketchy.
