The hotel is great and quiet, lot's of light and safe. The staff is friendly. I recommend staying here
City view rooms or one I had is compact but nice. Pretty clean and easy to maintain/get clean again after room service. The few rooms I saw w the couch are nice space but all seemed to be crazy dusty. The rooms w the yelloeish tile/floor seem to be less dusty. The room w the closet that’s on pics is the “suite” not the upgrade from city view one.

We stayed 3 nights, one night we weren't left any towels and when we asked for some we were told someone would bring them and didn't.
Notes say no parking but there is a small lot out back and a sign mentions an underground lot.
Staff were very nice and great location for getting the subway into Manhattan and only 20 minute drive to Brooklyn Cruise terminal
We needed a place to stay after our flight was cancelled. What a nice surprise. It was easy to get to from the subway (36th street yellow train). It was near a diner and several places to get supplies. We did our laundry at the big place within sight of the hotel. I would stay here again when we visit Brooklyn again. Thanks to the front desk staff for being helpful!
the desk to the point that I interacted with them were pleasant. Housekeeping was very nice. Hotel might be in the process of renovations? The faucet in the sink wasn't quite attached and was a challenge to use. The tub, while clean had seen better days and was heavily chipped. Windows a little thin and could head a lot of outside noise on a pretty quiet block. But with that being said street parking was easy to find (just a block back) pretty good neighborhood and a short walk to the metro.
Love the variety of foods in the area. 3rd floor hallway was very loud all hours, didnt sleep much. One night even had two adult men in fist fight in hallway making noise at 1:40AM.

Heavy smoke smell in common areas, though it was not present in the room. The bed was sagging. The room itself was clean. There was only one towel set. Staff was overall nice and helpful.
Don’t know what’s up w the reviews or maybe I just got a nice room but it’s for sure clean and not listed but city view rooms have a bathtub. And yes you get view of city from downtown bk to downs town of city and there is a warehouse like city building in front of you so you have no obstruction views and no one looking into your room from other buildings. Bedroom portion is tight it’s for sure just for sleeping but there is a decent sized hallway that’s separated out enough from that and also there is a desk if you need w plugs including 3 prong ones for w shipment /computer etc and you’d have city view behind u if you’re doing video calls form that desk. USB c ports next to the bed and not by your face which is nice. Lg smart rv w all internet streaming apps. Hotel is very nice maybe it’s good it has bad reviews so that there are available rooms. It’s def ok to good for 2-3 night stay. Def ok for people from outside ny also Air conditioner is in celsius oil

It looks like they are running a homeless shelter there. Staff was nice. Room is tiny and not enough pillows.
I did a quick visit on Thanksgiving week to Brooklyn from NC.
Found this hotel within reasonable budget nearby the area I was visiting.
Even for a one day stay, it was very welcoming, clean and well maintained.
This was a walk-in visit.
They gave me the fourth floor, I had a great view of the entire city view from my bedroom.
One highlight to mention - if one happens to arrive earlier than their check-in hour, they will allow you to check in with a $10 fee per hour leading up to the check-in time.
I.e check-in is at 3pm , you arrive at 1pm, a $20 fee will get you to your room earlier.
That's not bad at all considering other hotels are firm with their check-in hours.
Great place overall.
If some way , somehow I end up back in Brooklyn, I'll consider staying here again.
