This wonderful property, staff and location are the perfect spot for anyone who needs to stay in a trendy part of Brooklyn that’s safe, clean, comfortable and aesthetically appealing on a budget. I’m referring to Hotel 1080 (formerly Hotel RL) as “My Hidden Gem 💎” from now on! I stumbled upon this property due to a family /work emergency that required me to stay in Brooklyn for an extended period of time and, thanks to EVERY STAFF MEMBER I encountered, my family and I were able to figuratively and literally “weather the storms” that occurred before and during my 12 day stay (from January 16 to 28, 2026)! I’m getting emotional now, so I’m going to end this review right here before it gets too sappy! Thank you Ruhul, Fatima, the entire Housekeeping and Housemen staff of Hotel 1080 from me and my family! 🤗☺️💝💐🎁

This is my 2nd time staying at hotel 1080 and it just gets better. Fatima, Andre and Ruhul couldn’t be any sweeter. I requested the same room type as before and it was magnificent. Soft, comfy bed, great water pressure, a shower that just feels amazing! This time I came down to the lounge for a lil karaoke Wednesday. I didn’t sing but, I had a few drinks, listened to some R&B and went back to my room. Clean, spacious, perfectly located near everything… you won’t be disappointed!

The staff was very nice and friendly! The manager Ruhul was very helpful. The only bad thing about my stay was the shower. I was in an accessible room on the 8th floor and I found the shower floor very slippery. One of the floor tiles in the shower was also loose. Not sure how the showers look in other rooms but I would be cautious about slipping if in this room style. Otherwise, the stay was great! Good, clean room and about 5minutes from the closest subway stop.

I had a 3 night stay and it was very enjoyable. The facility was clean and tidy, it was close to the subway and bus stops, plenty of good food in the area, and the staff, including the manager, Raul, made sure me and my family were well taken care of and comfortable. A great value!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the appearance, amenities and comfort of the entire property for the affordable price! The location is not too busy or isolated. It was my home away from home. The manager, Rahul (forgive me if it’s mispelled) is doing a great job as the head of this property! I’m booking my next stay after I finish typing this review! 💛🧡❤️

This was a 10/10 stay, you get what you pay for and it was a safe and comfortable environment. The staff was friendly and the Manager went above and beyond making us feel welcomed. He showed us around and was readily available for any questions we had. The subway is a 2 min walk and there is a store conveniently on the corner of the hotel. We definitely will be back when we visit New York again. Once again thank you to the Manager who was overly welcoming.

I stayed on NYE, just for the price alone. However upon getting there, I couldn’t be more impressed. It’s a beautiful property, my room was clean and comfortable, and the staff and manager were very kind and accommodating. This place is about to become a staple when I next find myself in the area!
