The hotel was in a good local easy access to many local shops, restaurants and public transport. The staff was friendly in the hotel and the price was very affordable for NYC.
Staff was incredibly kind. The room was very clean. Rooms are a little small and the shared bathroom took some getting used to, but a good place to stay for a small trip!
Satisfactory but not great. The room itself was fine and the location was good. Though the hallways are in ruff condition and smell like smoke. The admin staff displayed great customer service and worked with me to change rooms when I had an issue with the shower.
The hotel is in an excellent location on the Subway line and Chelsea Market and Starbucks Roastery just a block away. The neighborhood is pretty safe. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a little kitchenette with a sink, a coffee maker, a microwave. Shared bathroom was not a problem at all!
Staff was very friendly . We chose to stay on the bottom floor so we didn’t have to climb stairs. It was very quiet at night. We didn’t hear other guests or street noise. So much better than when we stayed in Times Square. We did hear workers and people at the front desk but that’s when I was already awake. Great accommodations for the price. Would stay again. Also, VERY conveniently located to the subway. One building away. Easy travel uptown and downtown.

The location and price is superb. That makes up for the rundown location. Friendly hallway cat but may be annoying for those with allergies.
Staff was friendly and room space was okay but bathrooms were not well cleaned or stocked, no soap, locks did not work. Ground was generally gross, not enough blankets, shade did not work, no hand soap in our room. Good enough, but an upgrade is worth it.
Great location for the participating in NYC Marathon. Really close to Subway A C E and 1, which was great for getting to the ferry for the start and after the race, from Columbus Circle and down to 14th. Really friendly and helpful staff, but the place is worn down. Noisy street outside and the walls and the door were thin. But it's also close to great areas to hang out in, like Chelsea Market and West Village.

Great staff, clean room, WiFi is unusable. Bed was broken but there was a pullout couch I slept on instead. Take advantage of the back patio area, it’s nice

Fabulous location near the Highline, Chelsea Market, and so much shopping. Great place to say with a 9-year-old, we kept busy with playgrounds nearby, farmer's markets, and more. Nice that the rooms have little kitchenettes too. Only thing I didn't like was the mattress was very worn and sunk in the middle, so I couldn't sleep well here.
