"Lovely, homely hotel just outside the town centre. Easy parking, lovely room and comfortable king bed. We booked the room with breakfast which was good value. Our room was on the second floor, which I didn’t see in the room description. The stairs are quite narrow on the tread, and steep, so if this is an issue check room location before confirming. Otherwise, an excellent place for a New Forest stay."

The Crown Manor House Hotel

"Beautiful hotel set in a perfect location for local shops, restaurants & the Forest. The staff are so friendly, special shout outs to Lucy & Liz who made our stay even nicer. The room was large & comfortable & we were very fortunate to have had air conditioning in such hot weather. We ate in the restaurant both nights & the food was to a very high standard. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice. This was our 2nd stay & we are looking forward to returning."

"Lovely hotel, in a beautiful location 😊 Staff was very friendly helpful and welcoming, Our bedroom was very spacious clean and had everything we needed on arrival, even the dog had a little welcome gift pack. We opted to eat out as we had planned our days out, but the bar area and garden was beautifully kept and relaxing so we enjoyed drinks there both evenings as the weather was amazing, Only a little negative comment about it it was the house keeping the next day, looked like only a bottle of water was planted in a rush, no clean glasses, no tea, no milk, just felt unfinished. We do recommend this lovely hotel and hopefully will be back again 😊"

"The stay was really nice. Staff were very helpful and catered for anything we needed. The food was also excellent, both breakfast and evening meal, with the added bonus that it is cooked to order. It would have been nice for the rooms to have air-conditioning but that is the only thing I could fault."

"What's not to love? It's peaceful, it's quiet, it's beautiful, and it's tucked away in the middle of the New Forest away from all main roads and disturbances. We've been many times before, usually just to spend a few hours chilling in the bar or in the garden, and we'll continue to go back time and time again."

"The general overall stay was super. The staff very helpful especially when we had a problem with our tv, came and sorted it straight away. The organisation of the breakfast with tables linked to your room name was a real plus! Much nicer than 'sit where you like'! Breakfast was lovely with great service, the one down side was the lack of fresh fruit and the tables could be a little larger! Room was clean, well maintained and serviced. Great to have parking and only a 2 minute walk into the centre of town. Definitely recommend 👌"

"No staff at the accommodation but instructions to enter the property went very well. Very close to restaurants - we loved Esme’s kitchen and bakery. Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. Only criticism I have is that Britannia Thai food was recommended with 15% reduction for guests. They didn’t seem too happy when we asked but did give us 10%. The food was excellent though."
