「Very clean, friendly staff.」

「The property is quite dated. The lobby area was dark with dim lighting. The room was dingy though it was fairly clean. Not a homey atmosphere.」

「The room provided was filthy. There was urine stains on the floor in the bathroom. Only 2 bath towels provided for 2 adults and 2 children. No hand or face towels. The front desk was contacted and they provided another room which was satisfactory. 」

「Our stay at this Hampton Inn was just an overnight as we were traveling. As always, we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Upgrades were being made at this location as we were there, but other than some areas that needed attending, there was no inconvenience. 「The hotel is an older building, but is very conveniently located in Charleston West Virginia. The rooms are very clean. The front desk staff are wonderful and the morning breakfast is better than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed and that’s a no joke.」

It’s also .5 miles from the main hospital and less than .5 miles from the local greyhound station on the other side. This causes the property to be in the local path for the local unhoused population so that leads to not wanting to go anywhere on foot.
