2/5 - Disappointing
It’s not kept up. It looks like no one has taken care of anything. You feel very unsafe.

If you're spending some time in Downtown Charleston, Charleston Town Center and Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences are top sights worth seeing.

While visiting Teays Valley, you might make a stop by sights like Teays Center Plaza and Teays Valley Lakes.

You'll enjoy the restaurants and shopping in Kanawha City. You might want to make time for a stop at Kanawha Mall Shopping Center or The Shops at Kanawha.

While visiting South Hills, you might make a stop by sights like Cox-Morton House and Sunrise Bird Sanctuary Museum.

While visiting West Side, you might make a stop by sights like Patrick Street Plaza Shopping Center and Ruffner Memorial Park.

Institute might not have many top sights, but Venture Lanes and Jefferson Park are two attractions nearby that you can check out.

Really hard to say, though it was beautiful and our room overlooked the river. So much was closed due to the stay at home orders.
This was just an overnight stop on the drive home. I did not do any sightseeing in Charleston.
I grew up in Charleston, it is always good to go home!
It was an okay city. I think you have to be raised there to appreciate the area.
The Town Center Mall is losing more stores, especially upsetting to see Macys is now gone. I visit Charleston twice a year and always shop at this mall. Its sad to see so many stores closing and no new stores taking their place.
