Upon my arrival, I was initially thrilled to be staying at this hotel, as other options in the area appeared to be lacking in quality. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I entered my room to find it in a state of disarray. The carpet was held together with black tape, the couch was torn, and there was black mold present in the bathroom.
After voicing my concerns to the front desk, I was moved to another room. However, when I requested a non-ADA room, I was informed that it was not possible due to booking through a third-party. Despite my knowledge of hotel software and the ability to change room types, the hotel was unable to accommodate my request.
I reached out to the third-party booking site and discovered that the hotel had falsely claimed to be sold out when in reality they were still selling rooms online. This lack of transparency and failure to provide a room in proper condition was extremely disappointing.
As a hotel professional myself, I understand the importance of maintaining high standards for guest accommodations. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel has left me uncertain about returning in the future.
