Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown

"Everything was nice for the price point. We did not participate in the happy hour but I heard good things.
Bed was comfortable, the sheets felt good, bathroom was fine.
Only complaint I had was that the breakfast thing began closing 40 minutes before the states close time. As such, by the time we got out of the omelette line, all the fruit, yogurt, toast, danish were all put away. After eating half my omelette, I wanted more coffee, but the sweeteners were all put away.
Very convenient to shopping, the Gaslamp District…"
"I reserved a room with 2 beds for my sister and I for a one night stay at Sophia hotel. When we arrived at 4PM our room was not ready and Ian gave me two waters and two chocolate candy bars and offered two rooms with one bed in place of the one room with two beds on the newly renovated floor right next to each other at no extra charge. It worked out perfectly as we had our own space. "
"My husband and I had a wonder full stay! We enjoyed a nice boat ride and dinner that was walking distance from our hotel and our room view had a small nice outdoor Pato with bay view! "
"SpringHill Suites has become a favorite for our family, thanks to the spacious rooms that can accommodate four people fairly comfortably. I was in San Diego for a conference and brought my family along so we could spend time together and they could enjoy a bit of a vacation.
The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet and clean, and—perhaps my favorite part—the coffee was surprisingly good. It was nice not having to spend $4 a day at a local café just to get a decent cup. The breakfast buffet also exceeded expectations; my family really enjoyed it, which isn’t always the case with hotel breakfasts.
We did have a couple of minor complaints: the room never quite cooled down enough, even with the mild weather outside, and the pool felt like an afterthought. It was small and there was no hot tub, which was a bit of a letdown.
All in all, though, it was a solid stay and a great choice for families looking for comfort and convenience.

"I stayed at this property for a conference that was happening at the Manchester Hyatt. I was able to grab coffee and a croissant and walk the half a mile to the conference center. The neighborhood is safe and it was a lovely walk each morning and afternoon. Staff was wonderful. The only caveat was that on Fridays and Saturdays they have club music going (I assume) as I could feel the bass thumping. Otherwise, the room was pretty insulated from noise. The bed was comfy. Climate control was nice. I had great hot showers. Overall definitely worth a stay. "
