This property was beautiful!! The room we stayed in was slightly outdated and could use some remodeling, however, the property was beautiful, the pool was wonderful (and heated) and the location was perfect. Also, the restaurant and bar had delicious food. You can either choose to stay in and relax or it’s just a short drive into San Diego to explore. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

I must rave about the staff. Natalie checked us in. She was delightful. We waited to check in for a short while (the front desk staff was solving a problem) and she was so appreciative of our patience and let us know. We were appointed with a beautiful suite with the Marina view to die for. Just what a lady's weekend called for. The hotel staff and restaurant staff could not be more welcoming and accommodating. We highly recommend this lovely resort.

The bartender at the pool bar I believe her name was Sierra or Sienna was wonderful and so personable.. the front desk check in manager was also very nice and helpful.. property a bit older but grounds nicely kept up

The room was nice. The view was wonderful. The area was wonderful. My only complaint was the restaurant. We didn’t ever understand the times the restaurant was opened and what they served or where it even was it was very confusing.

The rooms are clean, but they really need some upgrading. Bathroom ceiling has some mold showing. The rooms had a weird smell. We stayed one night, so it was ok for our stay.

Check in was a struggle. I ended up waiting at the pool to 5 hours. The woman at the desk said there would be a discount on my room for the inconvenience but that did not happen. I asked for a late check out because of the check in confusion and was assured I could check out hour late but I was rushed out of my room at normal checkout time. The attendant at check out did give me a discount but overall it was a very stressful experience.

Loved the pool and garden areas. Comfy loungers with cushions & no problem getting them. We made use of the free bikes & rode along shelter island. The food in the restaurant was very good, but there were also other good restaurants nearby. Room was a little dark, but overall a great place to stay with a holiday vibe.

We had a great time; the rooms were a little smaller than anticipated but were comfortable. My only complaint was that we had to extend our stay by one night due to a booking error on my part. We were charged over $400 for that one night after we had just stayed there for 8 nights. When I inquired about it the staff I talked to was very rude and said, "I don't know what you expect it is a Saturday night". I expected some common curtesy since we had just stayed there for 8 nights and spent well over $400 at the pool bar, That was very disappointing.

This place is stunning! The rooms, staff, food, and location are amazing and unbeatable. My partner and I stayed here for vacation and were blown away. We were celebrating during this time and the staff made us feel extra special! There is a ton to do around the hotel, as well as different events at the hotel like concerts and movie nights. Our favorite amenities were the heated pool and poolside bar. We’ll be recommending this place moving forward to any friends or family staying in the area. Memories of a lifetime!

Incredible stay! The resort is a long-standing icon in San Diego. Nestled in the heart of point Loma. Perfect location lots of local coffee spots and restaurants. Pool was beautiful room rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We would absolutely stay again! Family of three.

If you can overlook the rust/unfinished parts of the tub then this is a resort you must visit!!! I’m a solo traveler but found out the first night it was spring break, the staff which is amazing must of figured this out as well and spontaneously threw movie nights every night I was there. They really went the extra mile, no matter how small the guest. This place is purely magical at night I thought I was in Hawaii not San Diego. The pool was amazing there is a bar most of the pool hours for drinkers. The little nighttime campfires were very nice as well. The food around the area was a W all around, shelter island (very clearly a peninsula) and Humphreys is on my list to travel back to without a doubt!!!
