We stayed for a quick three night summer vacay. The price point is good for the level of hotel you are getting. The room was generally in good order though there was a damp carpet smell while we were there. I don't blame the staff for this, but likely an issue in all the rooms due to the moist air.
Everything else was fine-- no bugs, water pressure was good, hot water came quickly and you can crack open the window slightly. The breakfast is typical HIE, but they did alternate some of the hot items each day so that was a plus. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked clean from a distance.
The best thing is that the area is quiet at night. The hotel is far off nearby I-5, which is great. There is the occasional rumbling of a loud car, motorcycle or truck going by, but really not bad at all. If quiet and a good night's sleep is important to you or your family, I'd highly suggest this location! Request a room on the backside of the hotel-- you'll thank yourself for that :)
