Executive Inn - Fort Lee

6/10 Okay

"Beds and desk were ok. Very dirty lobby carpet. Only one elevator working. Dirty bathroom. Cheated on breakfast. Just coffee and small ‘dime a dozen’ muffins (that is NOT a continental breakfast as they claim). The front desk clark was very very nice guy. Stayed for medical reason, so did not move to different motel after one day Rates were very reasonable."

"The hotel room was not well maintained. There was no microwave where there should have been one. The mini fridge below where the microwave should have been was clean but a bit wobbly. There was only one towel in the bathroom upon arrival and the bottom part of handicap bar in the shower was not attached. I went to grab onto it while showering and it swung to the right almost causing me to fall. Later on, I went to the front office to ask for more towels because they do not have phones in the hotel room to call the front desk. Once back in the room, I noticed a brown stain on one of the towels the person at the front desk had just given me."

"The location was convenient for our trip into NYC, and the hotel is a reasonably priced option for a place to sleep and go forward. The breakfast had diverse offerings, and the dining room staff were exceptional -- very friendly and helpful with every aspect of the dining; they really brightened up our day. The room cleaning staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful. The doors between rooms were somewhat scuffed (needing some paint) and the carpets seemed a bit worn, but overall it was a good stay made especially pleasant by the friendly and helpful staff."

"It’s always a pleasure staying at Sonesta. It’s very conveniently located to all major highways and easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff is always welcoming and courteous. I would only suggest a couple of items to add Showers need grab bar and a towel hook somewhere close to shower door to reach. The hooks on the back of the bathroom door are too far to reach towel when the door is closed. A bathroom nightlight would also be a good addition. "
