「The Cliff House is a collection of eclectic themed rooms in a historic building. I booked the more tasteful sky blue nautical Sail Away room to find that the hotel had since changed the decor to a light turquoise and teal undersea Atlantis room. Neptune and mermaid artifacts cluttered the unit to the point of not having enough table and counter space for my own belongings. Garish plastic plants, plaster figurines, excessive light fixtures. My eyes hurt from all of the stimuli.

「Horrible check in experience. Definitely call the hotel when booking through a 3rd party. Waited at the desk for 20 min. Then went back to the desk 30 min after normal check in hours and had a room. Front desk staff left for about 15 min with no communication. Had two other attendants try to help.
Room: mediocre for something described as a resort property. Bathtub had to be re-cleaned to shower in. Odd they even had a bathroom shower.
