The hotel experienced a power outage during my stay, which caused major inconvenience and made the stay unacceptable. There was no proper support or solution offered at the time. The situation was poorly handled, and the experience was extremely frustrating. I was informed by the hotel that I would receive a refund due to the issue, but so far, the refund has not been processed. Overall, the stay did not meet basic expectations.

This B&B was beautiful, a gem set in the emerald woods up in the mountains outside Denver. Patrick met us upon check-in to show us our room. We had the French Room in the East Wing, which is accessed through an upper terrace so you'll have to dress for the outdoors to have breakfast, which, ironically, was the only thing that detracted from the whole experience. The food, when it came, was excellent, but we waited a long time and actually felt ignored while the next table was being served solicitously. When I finally spoke up, Enrique informed us breakfast was $40 per person. I had read about this in the reviews so I made sure to take a screenshot of my Expedia booking which specifically mentioned "Breakfast included". To his credit, he had me speak with the owner on the phone, who explained the free breakfast ran for a limited time on Expedia and sure enough, when I checked Expedia, "Breakfast included" wasn't in the listing anymore. I'm glad I took the screenshot when I reserved the room so they made us a delicious breakfast which we had in their gorgeous Great Room overlooking the mountains. Patrick was very gracious and cooked an excellent omelette. Enrique didn't seem too happy and made sure to mention "I guess we're not getting paid for this" within earshot which was uncalled for and made us feel uncomfortable but I suspect he's in the spectrum and he was pleasant during checkout so all's well. Overall, an excellent stay in a beautiful setting!

The good: The room was clean and cozy. The view on the balcony we had to walk through to get to and from our room was gorgeous. We got in super late at night so had to do self check in which was super easy. The bad: I’d had a bad feeling about this place ever since making the reservation, but I didn’t catch that it was nonrefundable, even months in advance. So we were stuck with it. A refund for cancelling in advance is pretty standard. If something had come up or plans had changed, we’d have been out a lot of money. The ugly: On Expedia, the room I booked listed “Free breakfast” as an amenity, so naturally, the price of the room should have included the breakfast fee listed in the property details. However, when we walked downstairs for breakfast in the morning, we were told it would be an extra fee that was 33% higher than the fee listed in the property details. That’s a bit absurd. On top of that, the man that gave us this information must not have had his coffee yet because he was particularly grumpy and impolite. After informing us that breakfast would be an extra fee, I asked if I hadn’t already paid for that, he sternly said “no” in a pretty rude tone that my wife and I both felt communicated that we were ignorant for even considering such a thing. This interaction completely ruined our experience. We promptly packed up and left to go eat elsewhere.

Master Bedroom had its own private patio. Breakfast was made to order everyday if that is what you wanted. Parking is easy. Our room was made up everyday. Large bathroom and closet.
We saw him first thing in the morning when we went to our car.

Huge pain checking in. Only one device per room can use WiFi. TV that was hanging beside bed 8’ in the air was direct tv, I couldn’t figure it out, no one to help. Breakfast 8:30-9:30 only. We had to leave at 8. No coffee downstairs, one small decaf packet in room. No cups for it. Weird place, would never go back, would never recommend.

In summation, we enjoyed our stay. We had the Master Suite, which was very spacious, bathroom was huge, had a large walk-in closet. Now, check-in was a bit confusing. Phone service was rough until we could get hooked into the wifi, so we were scrambling a bit to know what to do to properly check in. The Inn is directly on a main highway, literally a turn off a fast moving highway, so that can be a bit stressful, especially if you dont know the area. Same for leaving the property, be on your toes because the traffic whips by. If you have a large truck, parking will be a bit tight. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was great, enjoyed that. We stayed only for 1 night because we went to Red Rocks to see a concert. Its a bit of a drive if you're planning on staying there after a late show, so be prepared for that. So aside from minor trivial complaints, we enjoyed the accommodation very much so for our 1 night stay!

Beautiful spot, odd arrangement

Stayed two nights in September to bookend a concert at Red Rock. The B&B did offer a way to communicate to a service that could provide transport - 120 bucks. We ended up just driving up early and tailgating - def the way to go. As far as the property - it really is as lovely as the pictures show. Beautiful views from the dining room and from the terrace upstairs where out room was. Also, our room and bathroom were very clean. And the parking lot was convenient. Beyond that - it was a strange stay. We had the Red room - which doesn't come with breakfast (so, really just a B). Or internet for more than one person at a time. Or air conditioning at night (stipulated in the instructions). Which would have been fine, since the evening air in the mountains was cool and refreshing...except there was no tool available to open the one window in the bedroom. There was a small decorative closet with hangers - by decorative I mean the close was about 2.5 feet high, and the hangers hung over the in room mini fridge rendering them unusable except for perhaps socks. The kitchen was - there. It had an odd vending machine setup so you could purchase chips, sodas, water etc. Also some odd coffee vending machine, non working. Breakfast was served 830 to 930, oddly late. When I commented to that effect, I was informed by the cooks asst "i'm not getting up earlier". Paying what I considered a premium - I was surprised by nickel and dime attitude of the property and personnel.
