Stunning hotel - great location to 16th street, lots of restaurants and shops. Shoutout to Thomas for accomodating us with an early check and upgrade for a special weekend with my partner.
Loved the property, its public spaces and its overall ambiance. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast there. In both cases, the food was flavorful and well presented and our servers were as good as they get. We would absolutely choose this hotel again.
My first time ever in Colorado and my stay was wonderful service from the moment I arrived at the doors. The door men (valet) were helpful and the front desk staff provided the best customer service. I added notes about celebrating my sister's birthday in my reservation and the staff made it memorable from the time we arrived and even provided a sweet treat for her. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were just right. Everything was great.... the cleaning staff checked our room daily and provided fresh towels and made our bed. Afternoon Tea was a delight and my service at The ship Tavern was impeccable.
I travel a lot and great service is hard to come by these days but Bravo to this staff for making my first impression of Denver a great one.
Beautiful and unique hotel. Service was average. The food at the ship tavern was excellent and the room was very comfortable. Make sure if you want room service in the morning to place the order the night before or early. We tried to order at 930am but unable to speak to anyone in the restaurant and then informed they were not longer doing room service. That was a disappointment. Otherwise the stay was lovely and within walking distance of many downtown restaurants, cafes, shops or a short Uber drive away. We would definitely stay again.
Free historic tour was wonderful, staff was very accommodating, bars were really fun! 10/10

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Staff was great, but we couldn’t adjust the heat or air in our room. Staff and to come up. No hot water in our bathroom unless you flushed the toilet twice while water running. Definitely not up to the Autograph collection by Marriott.
We stayed here because of the on-site spa and we hadn’t stayed here before. The room was ok. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The spa was amazing. The on site restaurant that served breakfast was extremely slow. The ship tavern overcooked a lobster roll. The deal breaker was that there was a wedding reception there and due to the design of the hotel, the loud music from the reception echoed thru the atrium and the entire hotel until the music finished after 11 pm.
Beautiful hotel. Loved the history tour provided by Lee (concierge). Drop by the Ship Tavern … the Fish House punch is very refreshing and comes in an amazing tiki cup!

We only stayed for one night but overall maybe my expectations were set too high. Check in was fine but front desk could not answer our questions about the discounted listed on their webpage for residents. Our room was ok. The bathroom vanity was broken-missing door and piece of wood on the shelf was gone. Bathroom was clean. The AC ran all day and night as the control panel was broken. Cover to the heat side was hanging off the hinges. We really enjoyed our dinner at the Ship Tavern- food and service were great! We went over to the Churchill after for cigars and this was really nice as well. One thing that did gross us out was that a waitress who was coming over to pick up drinks for guests in the atrium dug through the trash to find a receipt and then started garnishing the drinks without washing her hands. She also used her finger to pull a garnish out of a drink. She was not working the cigar lounge -thank god and the two working in cigar lounge were excellent. While this hotel is a piece of history in Denver I don’t think we will be back.
