"We stayed here last year and had a nice experience so we returned this year. Last year it was much less busy and much more quiet. This year it was almost crowded. That was fine, but the problem was the loud music going to 11pm in the courtyard that our balcony and sliding door opened onto. I wanted to have the door open so we could sleep with fresh air and the sound of the ocean, but with the loud music and then the crowds continuing to party, I had to wait until the middle of the night. One night there were people partying and yelling until 4am with no sign of any staff confronting them. The food is ok, though I think I would start to hate it if I stayed more than 4 days. The desserts look so good but are pretty disappointing. Finally, we paid extra for an ocean view room, but the only way we could see the ocean at all was by going all the way onto the balcony. Otherwise all we saw was other balconies. They did not have a better room though I requested it twice. The staff are all very friendly. Daniel at the beach bar makes great drinks."

"ive been coming here for many many years and you cant beat the location and price. We love the small size of the resort and it has everything you need. The last 3 times we came we had to switch rooms due to mildew smell and visible mold in some rooms on the walls and ceiling. This past trip we tried to get switch due to the mildew smell and had to wait til the next day. it was almost impossible to sleep. If you get lucky with a more updated room without the mildew smell its great. if not it can ruin your whole trip!"

"We really enjoyed the Mexican Fiesta on Friday evening. We enjoyed the food, at both the buffet and the restaurant. The staff was friendly. The pools were always packed, and sometimes it was hard to get service at the pools. One thing we would like to see improved are the drinks. Some beer options other than Modelo and Corona Light would be nice. Maybe an IPA or some craft beers. The Tequila was not good quality; thus, many of the drinks were not very good. But all in all, we had a great time."

"We had a great experience at this resort and would definitely come back. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything felt easy and relaxing from start to finish. The food and drinks were consistently good, and there was always something available without long waits. One of our favorite parts was the spa—our massage was amazing and super relaxing. We also did a private dinner, which was a really special experience with beautiful setup and great service. The resort itself is well-maintained and has gorgeous scenery, perfect for photos and just enjoying the atmosphere. Overall, it was a stress-free, enjoyable trip and a great choice for a couples getaway."

"The resort staff was great, very friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, there is a musty smell in some of the rooms. We got two rooms and one had a musty smell and the other didn't, once it aired out and we ran the A/C it was a lot better and didn't bother us. As for the shade over the pools until after 11am. I'm not sure why anyone would complain about that. It's so hot that the shade is a welcome relief when you first get it the pool in the morning, especially if you're already sunburnt like we were after the first day haha. Now on to the kids activities. I have two kids, ages 4 and 2. They obviously loved the pool, but they also really enjoyed the kids corner. It was probably better for my 4yr old, because he could do more of the activities that they had throughout the day, but my 2yr old really liked it there as well. One thing I think they could do better at is a more inclusive kids menu at the restaurants, it was nice that they catered to adults and made it fancy and special, but I felt my kids were left out a bit when it came to options for them. That's my only real complaint, otherwise we had a great time and would definitely recommend this resort to other families!"
