Barcelo is such an amazing place to stay. Everything from rooms to food and service is 100 percent on point and more. This is the best place I've stayed at so far. I recommend 1000 percent.

All the restraints that you needed to make reservations for, the food was excellent. The buffet was good. The rooms were spacious and clean, comfortable, fridge was restocked every day with soda and beer. The pools are massive and there’s lots of seating. Once you have your chair at the pool it’s yours, 8am-8pm. No removing your towel if you want to leave for any reason, just be respectful and don’t put your stuff down and be gone for 6 hours. Added bonus that we didn’t even know about. They have an adults only pool.👍Lots of shad or sun beautiful waterfalls. It’s just beautiful. Entertainment every night. Restraints open till 10:30 and bars till 1am with snacks. It’s just everything you want from an all inclusive. A room with premium, definitely has its perks.

The property is pretty small and outdated. Specialty restaurants are very small. In order to book a reservation for a specialty restaurant you have to go to the lobby and line up before the booking staff arrive in order to be able to get a spot. We traveled as a big group and we were never able to get a reservation for the whole group in any of the specialty restaurants at any time despite being one of the first people booking. Food quality is very poor. I will not be going back.

Beautiful resort on an even better beach! Loved being able to walk steps to the beach and feel comfortable swimming in the nice clean and cool ocean. Take a little walk on the beach, head to the left and the very last massage spot (by the arch walkway) is a must! Puerto Vallarta is a lovely place with wonderful people. Nothing to fear at all!!

Loved the area around resort. Missoula is beautiful. Palm trees and jungle all the way up to beach and rocky shore. Beach area plenty of sand, very clean water does get deep quickly wading out. Very secluded, not many other bars, venues around you. Love the property. Lush, mature landscaping all around the pools. Adult, sports, family and kid pools. Pools were great, service pool side at adult pool were great. You can order whatever you want as long as your are specific about brand names. Beer and wine lists are limited as well as mini bar choices, but they are stocked daily. We chose premium level and for not much extra we were beach front with very large 1 bedroom suite with dining room, family room, wrap around balcony. Well worth the money. Premium level lounge was disappointing. Should be on a rooftop looking out over the water. It’s tucked away in a corner, no view, never anyone in there. Overall food was disappointing in premium lounge, mini bar fridge, Los Marcos. Buffet was great daily, you learn to pick what you like, there are many choices. Don Quixote was best restaurant. We will definitely go back but going into downtown for goods and bars is a must. Great 30 minute drive.

Yes I believe we had one of the nicest rooms we were on the fourth floor our deck was beautiful because it had glass across the front where you could see the pool if you could see the restaurant and you can see out into the ocean and one night we could see the whales off the point and it's so beautiful to listen to the waves crash in the evening when you tried to go to sleep and have the door cracked I couldn't have asked for a better room they were also roomy the beds were very comfortable and the linens were very soft

Building and grounds were well taken care of and the rooms were clean and modern. We got updated to a lovely two bedroom suite and loved the view and outdoor pools! Staff were friendly and felt safe the entire week. Beaches and excursions were great and food was as expected. Could have stepped it up for specialty dinner reservations such as Italian night but overall great experience overall. Will definitely be visiting again!

Clean room, friendly staff for the most part, Wi-fi was perfect. Lots of mosquito type bugs and we all get bites that turn into big welts. Disappointed in some of the service, only as we were premium and I really had to ask for the premium vodka when I wanted it.

Entire resort was very nice. Not fancy really but everything was very clean, very easy to get around, excellent service, we never had to wait to eat, the food was all really good with a pretty fair selection at the buffet and amazing food at the restaurants. Yes, cleaned room every day. Staff was wonderful. Adult pool was my favorite place. Only problem was kids in the adult pool claiming they paid the adult price.
