Staff is very nice. Breakfast buffet is okay 6/10 Rooms are big and lots of space everywhere. Shower pressure is amazing, one of the things I loved the most. Over all this hotel is great. I would stay at Mio again if I could. We are used to staying at 5 stars hotels like Wynn Las Vegas, so when I tell you Mio hotel is Okay, believe me it is okay 8/10

We booked at HOTEL MIO to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Well, what a treat!! Our overall experience was a 10 out of 10. The hotel’s facilities, from the restaurant, to the large room, to the rooftop pool and the cabanas, were absolutely the BEST!! Our room had a spectacular view of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay Area. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The shower was absolutely AWESOME!! We loved the surrounding area as there was so much to see, many places to visit, and a wonderful variety of places in which to dine. We will DEFINITELY be going back to HOTEL MIO.

Great place to stay! Good location. The rooms are large and all rooms have a balcony. The shower is huge. Using the app to access the elevator and room worked really well, I wish more hotels would do this. The roof top pool is amazing, the cabanas fill up close to noon. The temperature of the hot tub could’ve been a little warmer for me but nothing to complain about. Others we met there had been to the hotel multiple times and said it was the best place to stay in PV. There is “beach access” through the Friendly resort BUT on our second day of enjoying the beach we were told that the beach lounge chairs were only for the Friendly guests, not Mio. So yes, you can get to the beach but you can’t use the chairs or umbrellas for shade. Or maybe it depends who is on shift.

Great location and very spacious room (and spacious walk-in shower)! We stayed at a high-floor (9th floor) end unit with both ocean and views!! Buffet was excellent! The only feedback I have is that shower and tap run cold for a quite a long time before water becomes warm. Seems like a big waste of water.
