「This was a great convenient stop for us on our way home from Florida. The price was right for us because all we really needed was a clean and quiet place to lay our head for a couple hours and to grab a quick bite in the morning. 「This place was very nice. It was very modern inside and a quiet country setting outside. We loved having a fire pit and being so close to the park. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Our room was clean. Beds were comfortable to sit on, but horrible to sleep on. They felt so hard. I found a long hair in the tub that did not belong to any of us. Finally, the coffee maker was IN the bathroom sitting on the sink vanity right beside the toilet. Imagine all the toilet flushes & debris that floats….landing on the coffee packets & coffee machine. Needless to say, I chose no coffee. I didn’t even want to move it to use it - yuck! This hotel was nice & clean & floors were clean too....

「I enjoyed my brief stay at the property. The check in process was unusual. I talked with the property manager via Ring and the place was unlocked. Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. 「Have stayed at this hotel many years as it is close to beech bend. This hotel has been great up until this stay. The blanket had cigarette holes, the ceiling had some type of stains as well as under the mirror, the carpet was torn and you would trip over it. The elevator also didn't work for two days of our stay which didn't affect us but we seen an older couple struggle to get up the stairs.」
