"This is a rustic cabin experience, but it was very comfortable. The cabin had its own air conditioner unit, kettle, and coffee maker. The grounds were beautiful and gave the “camping” experience. This is an idyllic place for family trips. The individual cabins and recreation rooms with big comfy chairs and couches as well as games, make this a big step up from tent camping. It is the kind of place you want to spend the entire summer enjoying with the family. The restaurant had high-quality food options. The guests and grounds created a family-friendly and safe atmosphere. The playground and zip line were perfect for kids. The recreation rooms were being enjoyed by teens (and a few adults working on laptops). We didn’t have smores by the nightly campfire, but that looked like fun. This is a fabulous place to visit and a destination on its own."

"While the property is older, the room (134) was in remarkably good condition. It was clean, all amenities worked well. A/C was a newer unit and was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom and sink area appear to be newly renovated. We loved that they provided earplugs, but we didn’t need them at all. It was a quiet stay for us. The only recommendation we have - put a non-slip mat under the microwave. It slides around on top of the fridge when you open or close the door. We were very pleased with the room and staff."

"River Rock Inn was a nice, quaint stay for my cousins and I! We only stayed one night but it sufficed for what we needed. The room was relatively clean, the beds were decently comfortable, the only thing is the AC was sooo cold and a bit tricky to figure out how to use at first. Also, the deadbolt on our door was messed up and only the bottom lock was able to lock. Sticks Cafe that is right next to the inn was pretty cool, the drinks were yummy and the food was delicious as well as beautifully presented! If you tell them you’re staying at River Rock they will give you a 20% discount! They also have an art box where there are small prints of art made by local artists of Yosemite! The owner of River Rock was very kind and friendly and let us know that if we needed anything, she would help us. Overall we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our time at River Rock :)"
