"Overall, everything is considered good."

"Our 2 queen room with a balcony facing the river was great. Very comfortable for 2 grandmas traveling with 2 teens. We stayed there and took the YARTS bus on Hwy 140 into Yosemite Valley for one day that was so convenient - instead of driving, fighting crowds & trying to find parking. We had excellent dinners - one night we got pizza and took it to a table by the river, and the other night ate at the restaurant with a table by the river. It was hot so the a/c was needed, and we enjoyed the pool along with other happy families."

"I have stayed in this property once before. Chose to stay here again with the kids this time. As usual this hotel is well kept and everything and everyone is very kind and helpful. Free breakfast could use a little more selection of the hot items but not a major dealbreaker for me. Very close to Yosemite entrance via Tunnel View. Plenty of walkable restaurants and souvenir shops. Will definitely stay here again!"

"The room and breakfast were good. There is so much nature around this hotel and it is beautiful. The pool was nice to return to after our outings. We stayed for 4 days and for the most part enjoyed our stay. The central location is also nice! There were a few things that made the stay a bit uncomfortable. The queen bed sagged to the middle and that was not very comfortable. We had returned from lunch and found a cleaner in our room. Most places do not clean rooms till after a few days or at the request of guests. Something felt off and uncomfortable in this situation. We also saw a dead roach on the bathroom floor. We did not see any others and thought maybe it caught a ride in on another visitors bag. This would have been a deal breaker!"

"The hotel was a bit dated, but it was clean, and the beds were comfortabe. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was basic and had the exact same items every day (we were there for 4 nights), but it was OK. However, on more than one occasion they ran out of somethings (otmeal for example) around 9 AM, and they said it was too late to replenish (breakfast served unitl 10 AM). To their credit, they were happy to provide to go containers for guests who wanted to take food with them (I've never seen this before with continental breakfast). This helped a lot, because the town is minuscule an the only other breakfast option was Starbucks (which saved us on our last day, as we did late check out, after breakfast had ended). The housekeeping crew started very early every day, and the noise of the rolling carts up and down the hall was a bit unpleasant, but it shouldn't be a problem for guests who are early risers. There is laundry area for guests (coin laundry style), but unfortunely all dryers were out of order, so for us, it was no help. Considering availability, location, rates and amenities, in comparison with other hotels in the area, if I were to visit the Yosemite again at this time of the year, I'd stay there again."
