We loved our stay in Madison! We shopped on Main Street and visited the many antique stores in the area. We found lots of neat things at good prices. There was a car show by the river. There are plenty of things to do. The scenery was beautiful.

We did a boat ride on the Rockin Thunder to Louisville for lunch and that was awesome. Madison in general is a fun and relaxing town. Enjoyed the state park as well.

Nice dining options, interesting buildings and shops. People friendly. Beautiful views of Ohio river and sunset from our hotel. Near Clifty falls and we enjoyed the hiking trails. I have stayed at the Clifty Inn at the state park and it is beautiful!

Madison needs more middle of the road food options, such as a normal meal type place. This was our fifth year, in a row, to visit. That is our only disappointment. No end of hamburgers, pricy steaks and seafood, and mediocre pizza. More options, plea
"The only complaint I have is we came down from the casino to grab our bags at 1055 and we were already locked out the room. The checkout time is 1100. It was easy for her to reset it but that was annoying!!"
