This is a very nice hotel with easy access to downtown Cincy. The staff was great, and even though we had a rough checkin the staff made up for the issues and did a great job.

Wonderful staff, and great breakfast. Great view and lobby was clean. Absolutely awful filthy room. Door was broken to the point the kids couldn’t shut or open the door, phone was broken, ice bucket dirty and broken and coffee pot dirty. Bathroom, kitchen area both unclean and destroyed. Needed a lot of updates. Also smelled like cat pee. Overall the room was a downfall compared to the rest of the hotel. The pool was also cold and disgusting. Hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. It was gross to walk in the pool area. We were disappointed for how much we spent.

Most of the employees acted like you were a bother when you asked for anything. The a/c was not working properly. The worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I would like to commend Brian on the front desk. He was the only one w would help us when he was on the desk. The valet people were also good.

When I checked the sheets, there was dried blood on the bottom corner. It seemed like they still used dirty sheets putting the soiled area towards the bottom hoping customers wouldn’t peel back the top sheets and see how dirty it was. We discovered this before we went to bed at 11pm and called to get housekeeping to change the sheets. An hour and a half later, no one came so we called again. After waiting at least an additional 30 minutes, someone came to give us a sheet (which didn’t fit) and we had to put it on ourselves.

We ALWAYS love an Embassy so it was a no brainer to stay here for the Reds game on Monday, July 7-9. When we arrived, check in was fine. Got to the room and they had the air set on 60, but the room temp was 74. We asked about it and they gave us fans, but no other room was open. We asked the next day about the status of getting it fixed was and we had the MOST rude interaction with Rebecca. She said she would send engineering to look and wrote it down. Hours later and no one came. So down we went again. The room has not moved from 74 degrees even when set on 60-68. They finally sent someone. Did not tell us anything that he found and again no offer of another room. Still didn't work. We had to yell over the box fans they provided us the whole trip. They do offer us a one night refund, which was perfectly acceptable. However, it doesn't end there. I paid Expedia $268 back in March for this trip. So we were getting roughly half back. That all went through just fine. Until I checked my account and I had a charge from the Embassy for $274 more dollars. The receipt they sent said $45 for parking a drink. No mention of the $274. So now I've spent half the day trying to find someone who can help. RIDICULOUS. I do want to say the bartender and omelet guy are the best people they have at that hotel. Always helpful and smile, unlike every other encounter we had.

Needs some major upgrading. We had to switch rooms due to maintenance issues, the new room had the same issue. Maintenance man just followed us over as we moved our stuff to fix the new room as well. Pillows smelled of old body odor, found a shirt from previous occupants in the couch. Location is good, just cringe worthy cleanliness.

There is no hot water at this property so expect a cold shower. 4 days of cold showers actually. Asked three times for the water to be fixed and there was nothing they could do about it. Likely to have blown water heaters they haven’t replaced. No one came to replace towels or give room service until the last day we were there. Beds were fairly hard and uncomfortable. Hotel looks nice but a lot of problems. Plus we had two cars so that was $160 in parking at $40 day. I’ll pass on doing that again.

Unfortunately it's not the cleanest hotel, we stayed for a weekend. Pool is not clean and to top it off our water went out for 1hr it was just the worst stay. Staff is great very friendly rooms are very old style bed sheets and covers smell so bad we had to open our door every time we got to our room. Location is great near everything at walking distance.

Fantastic location. Great promise but not upto it's original glory. Mix of excellent and not so polite staff. Gradual decline over the years of staying at the Embassy Suites. Room carpet not vacuumed - remnants of previous guest on floor. Smell in room likely from carpet. Shower soap attachment broken. Given Suites, could have basic cutlery and dishes but this is a lost opportunity. Evening social hour food options have steadily eroded over the years. Used to be a nice evening charcuterie' at the social hour and half, but now no more cheeses, just chips, veggies and ranch, nuts, and trail mix. The chips were fresh but they did not refill or refilled with over 20-30 mins wait and was never refilled in the 45 mins of a 75 min total social time. Drinks were good but top shelf liquor costs extra. This may be site specific, but we stay enough at Embassy Suites to have noticed these changes over the years. For this location, parking spaces are tight and do cost $20 self park for now. May choose valet for $40 pd instead. Both have in-&-out privileges, but the method of parking validation is cumbersome (get ticket, get it validated at lobby which may be a wait if crowded, for each time going in/out). Overall, will stay again because the rooms are spacious. Staff at front desk and around were friendly, always present (a plus) and helpful. This is the worst embassy I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms smelled like mold. There was water damage visible through the carpets. A huge roach dead in the men’s bathroom. The clerk did not seem to care about any of the complaints. Please do not stay here it’s not worth spending the money.

They failed to properly check us in and overbooked our room. At 10:30 at night, where myself, husband and baby were sleeping, someone tried entering our room because the hotel overbooked us. When my husband called the desk about the issue they interrupted him and dismissed him. He went to the desk and it was blamed on the system but was never offered any solutions or attempts to right the situation.

This hotel experience was very lack luster. While the hotel lobby was nice, I wish I could say the same for the rooms. The room we were given was very dated, as if it was just sitting for awhile. Smelled old. Air conditioning did not work temperature remained in 73 the entire weekend where the weather outside was 90 and up. So you can imagine how hot we were. We were told the hotel was fully booked so possibility of changing room was not likely. The pull out sofa bed was dirty full of stains, a random bug came out of the couch, we asked for towels at the front desk and never got them. Had to hunt down housekeeping for them. The water temperature and pressure was low with lukewarm water. The only thing I did enjoy about my stay was the location of the hotel and the free breakfast. However my experience could've been alot better. As someone who had stayed at the Embassy before, I was disappointed in the experience we had.
