"Sunshine was a wonderful host answering all our questions by text quickly and very accommodating. This place is in the most beautiful spot, 360 degree views, peaceful and serene. We reserved the repurposed barn which had 3 bedrooms and one large well equipped bathroom. The common space is large with a pool table and full size pac man game the kids loved! The dog friendly part was wonderful as we were able to bring our two pups. The space tidy and well appointed but was rather dusty (not surprising for the fact that this used to be a barn!). The price was very affordable and we will likely return but next time with an awareness of the limited kitchen supplies. The description told us there was not a full kitchen but we were still surprised by no kitchen sink, next to no dishes (including only one coffee mug) and older, somewhat dirty appliances. We were grateful for full a size refrigerator and a working gas grill and made the best of our “glamping” experience."

"Staff is very helpful almost hovering!!! Lots of different amenities like a kiddie park. As a solo female I appreciated being moved to a king inside room with double locked doors. But don’t be fooled by the upgrade. The 200 block of king rooms is shabby compared to doubles. Bed and room are old but very clean. Still a nice surprise. Restaurants and grocery store very close"

"Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss."
