"This was a dream vacation. My husband and I enjoyed staying in the villas and having access to the amenities of the entire resort. It was so peaceful, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. The cultural classes that the resort offered were amazing. We took a basket weaving and lei making class. The resort is located perfectly on the island and in my opinion was the best place to be. We will be going back every year and will even bring our kids next time. The staff were all amazing and the grounds were immaculate. We loved our stay here. Mahalo, Sheraton!!!!"
"The condo was a little old but served it's purpose while we were there. It had a great view and fantastic location. There is no AC which I would've liked but we managed with the ocean breeze. Staff were attentive to needs we had."
"We were disappointed that the air conditioner was broken and we had a few window units. They were noisy and not very efficient. We got the note about the AC almost a month before our stay. Seems like they had time to fix it…
We were told there was no pack n play for the toddler that was traveling with us and was sent a link to rent it??? That is one thing that absolutely should be provided by the property. So we stopped on the way from the airport to purchase one which was cheaper than renting one from the link. When we arrived there we found…a pack n play in one of the closets. Nice, but took valuable time both purchasing and returning ours. Frustrating.
Great location, close to wonderful beaches, turtles and seals!
There was a closet at the property that was SO helpful, it had a cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas, sand toys and goggles. We were very grateful for these and got lots of use out of them."
"This property has an amazing location! If you want Oceanfront, you get oceanfront! The beach access to Brennecke’s and Poipu beach was a short walk. They had an access gate that allowed quicker access to it. It was about 30 minutes from tubing and kayak excursions and the same to the Waimea port. We had great communication and easy check-in and check-out. We did arrive after 4pm but had no issues with after hours check-in.
The main reason I had to give it 4 stars was because there was construction going on in the unit above us the last 2 days we were there. It was extremely loud banging that went on for over 2 hours after we return from our excursion. We were able to leave the first day but the second day was frustrating because my husband got seasick on the Nepali coast snorkeling cruise and needed to sleep. That didn’t happen.
We would definitely return to this property but the construction definitely was disappointing considering the amount of money we paid for this week stay."
"Very pricey but worth it. The property is truly magical. Everyone is cheery and extremely helpful with any questions you have about the property or the island in general. Kukui'ula does not disappoint!"
"This is a good spot for people with children as its an apartment feel and you have everything you need to cook, wash dishes or do laundry. The pool areas are dated but clean as well as the furnishings in the home. If your just a couple there would be more pampering in a hotel setting with out the hidden fees. Cleaning fees and daily amenity fres etc. this shouldve been included in original hotel cost. It was a separate charge for each day you stood there. And we were there several days and they never bothered to at least pick up the trash. Also there is noone 24hours at desk."
