「I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.」

「The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast served full English and continental. We had a peaceful sleep as the hotel was very quiet. There are nice treats in the room for guests like biscuits, popcorn and water. Staff were helpful and charged our electric car overnight for our next day journey. Would definitely go back again.」

The inclusive breakfast buffet was excellent, good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items. We were a couple and enjoyed the knights sword fighting, brilliant performances.
