「Honestly, the resort was nice, however we went during red tide, which really affected the whole trip. The resort STANK. I know it's not their fault, but they really should update their socials or send emails to let people know what's going on in case they want to make changes to their trips. 「We chose this property for location, price and water views. We were impressed and would stay again. Check in was quick with complimentary prosecco. The room was well appointed with robes and slippers, full length mirror, coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. Bathroom had a walk in shower , single sink, barn door that provided privacy. 「Love the quirkiness of it. Very much the old Florida look with a modern vibe. It made you feel like you’re in the keys. The front desk attendant was great she was very helpful and friendly. Room T has a great view of the water. Perfect for a couple. Will be back.」

The entire property was beautifully maintained, and it was clear the staff takes great pride in keeping everything in top condition. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded. 「I didn’t like that we couldn’t use the beach because the seaweed was not removed to make beach accesible. Also our room floor was dirty, appears that it has not been cleaned with water for a long time; when walking barefoot in room our feet became very very dirty with floor dirt. Room floor should be cleaned with water to remove dirt. Resort is very nice, employees are great, kind and very friendly. I hope my above recommendation is taken into consideration and resolved. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so.」

Finally, I called the number I was given six times and never got a response even when I was calling, because of illegal activity on the property. 「I arrived to find that my room was overbooked and already taken . I was offered two other rooms that were not acceptable. One without a sofa and one with no view. After traveling to the keys from Ft. Lauderdale it was most disappointing. They offered a refund and it took me three hours to find somewhere else to stay. Will not come back」
