「It was a nice room. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but it overall served its purpose! Glad we stayed there.」

「The pictures are very deceiving. Our sheets were dirty and had to be changed, we were provided 3 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people, and when we went to the front desk to get more towels, the woman at the front desk told us to get them ourselves. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I would not walk around without my shoes on. In the morning we found a cockroach on the floor, killed it, and brought it to the front desk in a tissue. Since we booked through Expedia, the property couldn't help...

「The Icona is a lovely boutique hotel. Perfect for a Spring getaway. If the weather is warm, it's wonderful to take the short walk across the street to the beach. Parking is located in a garage under the hotel with an elevator directly to registration and rooms. Very convenient property. 」

「Awful customer service. No heat in rooms. Rented a room for wrestling weekend, and had to transfer to a different hotel with working heat. The east coast is experiencing a very cold winter, which I get, but other competitors had working heat. Hotel is refusing to give full refund even though we did not stay there, due to their policy of notifying within 24 hours. How were we supposed to know they had 0 heat?! Expedia cannot override the vendors policy and offered a $50 credit towards a future...

「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」

「Room was clean, comfortable and they made up the room and supplied new clean towels daily. Breakfast supplied had bagels, doughnuts, and cereal and coffee. Gentlemen at check in friendly, polite and very helpful. Only downside was no elevator and I was on the 3rd floor, so I didn't 」
