Called down to ask for a room with a view that would match the description of the premium one bedroom suite that was described when booking. Within a half hour we were moved and the room was exactly as booked and provided an amazing view of the ocean and overlooked much of the resort. 「The room and hotel is exactly what it promises. No frills and quiet (except for the occasional plane flying by). If you are in Hawaii and in Hilo you are probably not staying in your hotel a lot. You will save money on their free coffee which is actually really good and strong. Staff is polite and friendly. There are plenty of places to eat in walking distance. The property is very beautiful and the koi pond is awesome when lit up at night. 」

The room, balcony and view was spectacular. If you are thinking of going here, stop thinking, just book it, and definitely upgrade to the Gold experience, it’s worth it.
