Dan was a great host and the breakfast each morning was amazing. It felt like we were in actual Hawaii and not just another tourist hotel. he also showed us around the property and took extra time sharing about Kona coffee and gave us some delicious fruit right off the tree.

Clean and new place. The bed was comfy, but the best was the healthy breakfast! I appreciated the effort Linda did to provide a good meal start to the day. It was quiet (I had no problem with the frogs and one distant rooster.)

We had a lovely stay here for just one night at the end of our trip. It is super clean and nicely appointed, Linda was a friendly and accommodating host and the breakfast she served us was wonderful. Very quiet, lush landscaping, and wild chickens!

Clean and comfortable room- Nice and helpful staff-Delicious breakfast- Easy parking- Quiet and Safe area/location. The entrance gate from the street to get in/out of the property parking is the only thing not my pleasant experience because you will have to get out of the car to open and close the gate manually every time rain or shine, day or night. Don’t forget to lock it! Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at Mango Sunset and would come back again to our next visit. Mahalo!

Gorgeous Kona hillside getaway

From the moment we arrived, Linda and Dan were such gracious and helpful hosts. They welcomed us, got us settled in, and then remained available for anything we needed. The setting was spectacular – a lovely hillside coffee farm integrated witg a bed and breakfast. Birds, frogs, flowers....all gorgeous! And a lovely breakfast with hyperlocal Kona coffee to greet you in the morning!

The Mango BnB

We absolutely love this bed-and-breakfast! Would recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat with beautiful views, wildlife and natural surroundings. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts that we’ve had in years and our hosts are helpful, friendly and really have a hidden gem @ The Mango

Mango Sunset was the perfect option for my one-night stay after an evening landing in Kona before driving to the Hilo side of the island the next day. The room was immaculate and comfy, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, communication with staff was easy, and coffee and breakfast were excellent. I would love to stay at Mango Sunset again for multiple days!
