The shuttle service is very nice and it is a beautiful property. The ambiance and service is first class upon arrival and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The food we had was delicious but not different from room service and limited day time options. The onsen is great but people should teach their children to be quiet in the spa area. The only negative on service was we came in from the cold rain at 2:30, asked for the living room fire to be turned on in living room and were told no. For a high end property like this, it’s nice to cater to client needs if it’s reasonable (not sure an extra hour of fire going should be a big deal, but maybe it’s just me!)

Staff went above and beyond at every opportunity. The onsen was super peaceful and we loved hanging out and dining by the fireplace in the living room. Rooms were spacious and clean and the shuttle was very helpful. Just be sure to arrange for transportation ahead of time if you are doing things away from the hotel after shuttle hours.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with halal meals options. We are traveling during Ramadan, and they provided us with something to eat for Suhoor (meal eaten before sunrise). Beautiful resort and great staff. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful stay in Hakone
Beautiful hotel in lovely Hakone. The hotel is impeccable, the staff is amazing. So attentive. The huge fireplace in the center of the lobby is such a treat. Loved it.

Very friendly staff, amazing facility. Wish that the hotel shuttle to the Gora station started earlier to accommodate guests leaving on the first train out of Gora. Cabs require advance reservation - not guaranteed - and we had no other choice but to walk uphill to KamiGora station to catch the cable car down.

Great stay in Hakone, everything was perfect from the rooms to the japanese dinner to the onsen. Definitely a place to recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing place.

Hotel is setup for serving mostly luxurious Americans tour groups. Without reservations ahead of the arrival you may not be allowed to have Japanese food for a dinner. Western food is available, but Japanese cuisine is not available without reservation days before arrival. There are no other restaurants in a walking distance. Bus shuttle is set you only for groups to bring customers to the cable cars 🚠 entrance with multiple stairs. Shuttle stop is not convenient for individual travelers with heavy luggage. Easier to use a taxi.

We loved the living room. It was warm and enviting. It was a great place to interact with the other guests. Your staff was very polite, professional and accommodating. The downside was we were not able to get a taxi to take us back to the train station. We had to roll our bags up the steep hill to catch the cable car. The entire trip to the train station took us 2.5 hours. It was very inconvenient.

Really loved the vibe of this property! The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The room was gorgeous, the hot bath incredible, and the convenience of their shuttle service back to Odawara station (and to other parts of Hakone) was perfect.

This property is excellent and the staff are very friendly. We enjoyed the meal at the restaurant. The food provided was delicious. Other facilities are great. The only comment I have is the hotel is a bit far from other shopping areas.
