Downtown Burlingame was very nice. As someone that grew up in the bay I never visited. Awesome candy store and we got some great ramen! Water front trail was very nice and was great to escape our valley heat.

The property is close-ish to Broadway, which has a decent selection of dining, coffee shops, etc. But you need to walk across the freeway footbridge to get there, takes about 15 min. I don't mind walking myself, others might want to get a ride.

I used to live in SF- DT Burlingame is very cute, but there is nothing of interest nearby this hotel - you have to drive or get a rideshare.

The only potential negative is the neighborhood. Though nicely situated to Union Square and public transportation such as cable cars and muni, about a block in the other direction may be the start of the sketchiest part of the city— an area that was dirty and depressed with a very large, visible homeless population. My family never had an issue with this, but we made sure to stay clear. Nevertheless, I would gladly revisit the hotel. "
