"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. "掃除等は行き届いていましたが、メイン照明の埃と蜘蛛の巣にはぎょっとしました。 あと、プロジェクターのコンセントが3 線式に対し、電源タップが2線式なので、変換アダプターが咬ませてあるのですが、アダプター側のバネが弱いようで、すぐに抜けかけます。トラッキング火災になりかねず危険を感じ、滞在中は抜くようにしていました。 それから、電気ケトルのコンセント周りがタコ足配線も怖かったです。"

"Helped me see Mt. Fuji at sunrise. There was a thick layer of fog forming right above the Yamanakako Lake in the early mornig, which seems to be a common thing in this season. Because this hotel was above the fog it didn't obstruct our view of the beautiful Mt. Fuji at sunrise. It was a very clear and sunny day, and the fog cleared up within a couple of hours after sunrise. If you are aiming for sunrise picture, this hotel really enhaces your chance of catching the precious view. "
