「Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Room was nice if a little compact. Very clean. We had room 203 which was a dormer room so sloping ceilings. Not so good if your tall, particularly in the shower. Cant speak fo the other rooms though. Plenty of parking when we were there.」

「We got upgraded to a King room (the Kingsley room). It was spacious and lovely; the bed was comfortable. Access to Gatwick: straight-line distance to the edge of the airport is less than half a mile (but we didn't notice any airplane noise in the room), and straight-line distance to rental car return is a mile. However, because of the ... interesting... layout of roads around Gatwick, the shortest road route is 3.6 miles(!). Quibbles: * Shower was a little small and the controls were not...

「The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport.」

「The room is clean but small. Helpful staff.」

「It was a lovely hotel, quite close to the airport, thus why I chose it. The room was decent and quiet and alll the facilities that I needed for my stay worked well. The car park was cramped, not much room to park, I had to get out of the car on the passenger side. So that could do with a bit of improvement. Nonetheless, the price for parking was reasonable compared to other hotels nearby.」

「We checked in after midnight as we need to stay for one night before return home. Check in process was efficient and took only a few minutes. Reception lady was courteous and efficient. Would certainly stay again if needed in future.」

「It was a pleasant surprise to find this place. We felt right at home, not only because of our stay, but also because of Alina's incredible kindness.」

「The hotel is old but very nicely maintained and uniquely decorated; great food in the bar/restaurant, though a bit pricey for a very small community like this. Staff are helpful as well.」
