「We chose it for the spa which was well looked after and in good quality. The room was very tired, soft furnishing were ok but paint and decor was very old as was the bathroom. Food at the linden was adequate but at London prices. We only ate there once.」

「The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds」

「Welcoming staff and parking is a positive. The toilets and showers are very poor. Doors on toilets don't lock properly, showers are very poor, no cleaning soap in shower or toilet or they were broken. This was on the 3rd floor. Don't know why I was on the third floor s there weren't many guests. Some guests I noticed leave a lot to be desired. I suppose you get what you pay for. This place is in need of a complete overhaul especially the toilet and shower facilities.」

「A lovely light and airy room with a wonderful view. Comfortable bed and plenty of clean towels. Staff were most welcoming and very helpful. Wonderful selection of goodies for breakfast. Fresh fruit every morning alongside a cooked breakfast and timings for breakfast most accommodating.」

「Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. 「Bloody Marvellous From the lovely warm welcome when we arrived to the fantastic breakfast just before we left everything was perfect. The room was lovely but what really made the difference was the wonderful team. The chefs should be made a saints as they worked miracles. See you all again」

「Very good small hotel. We enjoyed a lovely pub meal and friendly service when we stayed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with the full range of buffet items unavailable eg cheese and cold meats.The waitress was clearly not familiar with the menu. Room was small but very suitable for the night. Parking was good and it was very dog friendly with a separate dog menu. I would recommend it and would not hesitate to return.」
