"Close to restaurant"

"This has been insane. We had the owner literally try to gaslight us. The gate wouldn’t let us in nor any of our drivers. When we asked the gate worker why they said the owner hasn’t paid his bills in over a month. We have begged this man for 20 days to pay his bills and he said to us „what you think is happening isn’t reality“ like seriously? So we didn’t get told you can’t pay your bills and our drivers are all lying despite the gate themselves saying that’s what’s happening. He’s made no effort into fixing it. That’s just the gate issue. When we’re fist came in the dishes had moldy food on them as obviously it had not been cleaned. There was someone’s hair all in the bathroom floor. We had to completely scrub down and clean the place before we could relax. The Internet went down at one point (we work remotely) and while he said it was the internet company‘s fault you will find a pattern with the owner never taking responsibility for anything. It’s always someone else’s fault. You have to pay for the cleaning lady/new bedding/towels, it wasn’t much but when she leaves the place dirty still (example: mopping without sweeping so wet hair was everywhere, washing dishes and leaving water in closed containers to mildew, if you look under the counters it looks like it’s never been swept under since they bought the place) it feels like a scam. We are very clean people but there are cockroaches in the room we keep having to get rid of. TLDR: don’t waste your money"

"The man at the front desk, who also took our breakfast order is a real sweetheart! So helpful and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. If going to Kabah Park is on your to do list, and it should be, then this is the hotel to go to. Basic hotel, at an excellent price. Money well spent."

"I give this place a 1 out of 5 rating. There were no English speaking staff. There was no door on the shower so the bathroom floor was always a puddle. The view was awful. They have dumb TV's in the rooms with only 2 English speaking channels. Your hotel room is supposed to be a place you look forward to going to at the end of the day. It was depressing. It's literally a, "it's better than nothing", kind of hotel. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel. You'll be much happier somewhere else."

"I always try to be fair when I put reviews. We picked this hotel based on reviews and distance from the airport, as well there were only few choices available around the airport. read the reviews when I was booking, the firts ones very nice and high scores. Sadly, I got the worse rooms, beds, air conditioning… To be honest I think I was scammed; the pictures shown in the internet don’t match with the rooms I saw. I traveled with my husband and two daughters, the first room assigned smelled bad, the first thing I noticed how dirty the pillows and bed sheets were; I asked for new sheets. Then I noticed the bathroom… immediately I asked for another room (I was thinking to leave the hotel and ask for reimbursement but I got a bit scared since it was midnight). A second room was given, the smell again, air conditioning wasn’t working well; again, bed sheets very dirty. The front desk guy tried to be very nice, he gave us new sheets. I could not sleep even a bit… I was uncomfortable, people were noisy. I gave thanks when the alarm was off at 5:30am. The price of this rooms should be at most 35- 40$. I felt sorry for my kids and husband for being put in such situation. Lastly, I do not recommend to stay in such conditions, specially dirty bed clothes and smelly and dirty restrooms. "
