"The Hotel looks to be newly remodeled, but the bathrooms need an exhaust fan to aid with steam from hot showers. The door frames are metal and are rusting out. Some Rustoleum might help things in the interim. Beds were on the firmer side, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and breakfast was buffet style, always packed down there. The hotel refrigerators are like all hotel refrigerators, no matter how exclusive the hotel- barely cold. Some sort of hotel conspiracy going on with the substandard fridges. We are NOT Europe! The fridge has one job! Other than those 2 squabbles, the stay was nice. The weight room/gym area is fine. has treadmills. stationary bikes, yoga matts, kettle bells, dumbells. Would stay again, good price point too."

"Unbelievably helpful staff! Every single staffer I had contact with was far kinder than average compared to even fancy places I've stayed, and the management went above and beyond to help me sort out a hardware issue with our room's bed. I've had horrible experiences at multiple hotels trying to get assistance with aging/broken stuff in the room, but this hotel took the comparatively minor issues so seriously that everything I had asked about was fixed and then some within 10 minutes. I've never had that experience before, it's a testament to this particular hotel's hiring practices that they have been able to staff both the day and the night shifts with polite and eager-to-help people. Thanks!"

"We appreciated how helpful the staff was. We had the valet park out car & later on realized they might not be open when we needed to leave the following morning. We let the valet attendant know & they made sure to have our vehicle out front the next morning, ready for us. The room was clean and the beds & pillows were comfy."

"With the mosaics on the entry floor this property was once a gem. It has not been updated and looks like it has been run down for years. This is the second time I came. After seeing the underlying bed sheets stained so badly i didn’t stay but I had little choice this time since I booked through Expedia and paid already. Sad the owners can’t invest and invest and modernize this great property. Additionally the window curtains are badly stained and the breakfast serves a paucity of choices. On the plus side the staff does their best to help and welcome you. It’s not their fault in any way the property is so retro."
