「A lovely friendly welcome from Michael at reception. All the staff were great. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was a definite bonus in the hot weather although the room stayed fairly shaded too. There was some traffic noise but it didn't disrupt my sleep at all (room 16). The cooked breakfast was tasty and piping hot and and you could alter any items you wanted; really set you up for the day ahead. I found walking along the busy road, to the bus stop, with no...

「Nice room. Breakfast overpriced with no reduction for continental option - we didn't choose this and went to the local cafe! Dinner was a shambles. Clearly a good chef and helpful and hard-working staff .... but spoilt by lack of management and understaffing.」

「Guys we are in the middle of a heat wave I said it’s appresive in the room came back after work the next day still no fan in the room Don’t stay here if there is a heat warning - also didn’t help having the maintenance team scrapping banging under my room after the first night. Would I stay again - yes if there’s air con - staff have been very good.」

「The barn was a lovely place to stay. The weather was very hot so the air conditioning was brilliant and meant an excellent nights sleep. It is in the centre of the village and an easy walk to the Crown pub and Berts Barrow a local wedding venue. Breakfast was also lovely- couldn’t fault it!」
