Very comfortable stay. The staff was great. Easy to check in and able to store luggage before check in. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast options very good. Easy access to Waverly station.

Loved Hampton by Hilton in York. Looks new, extremely clean, wonderful staff, loved the big hot breakfast included. A very short walk to the train from London and a short walk to wonderful restaurants and attractions such as The Shambles.

Great location - a short walk from the rail station, but in a backstreet just inside the city wall. I stay at HBHs because they are clean, quiet and consistently dependable. The breakfast buffet is always a plus. And HBH is the only hotel I have found anywhere in the UK that doesn't strictly adhere to the archaic 3pm (and not ONE SINGLE SECOND EARLIER) check-in policy.

The room very clean and maintained daily. Staff were excellent, directions for York, getting me a safety pin for a dress. Nothing too much trouble and kind and patient. Lovely breakfast for days in York.

This property is convenient to the train station, the wall, and walking around the city. Our room was in the basement(!), and it was comfortable. The bathroom was quite narrow and small. Happy hour specials are fantastic, and we enjoyed that. Breakfast was a zoo, but it had all the typical offerings. The gym was a good size with good equipment offerings. Wifi was strong for streaming.
