"Clean and comfortable room. Coffee was excellent. Good hotel for a one night stay!"

"The bathrub in my room was clogged after showering. I reported to staff ASAP. It wasnt resolved that night because it was after midnight. However, staff followed up and sent a repair person in the morning. After several attempts of trying to fix it without luck we were accommodated with another room next door. The staff was helpful with this matter. Satisfied customer here."

"A historic home with a fabulous collection of collections in the parlor, dining room and living room. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and have period furnishings and comfortable bed and sitting area. The stained glass and woodwork in the home is wonderful. We especially loved the seating nook with circular moulding around it- gorgeous. A menu is provided for breakfast ahead of time so guests can choose their options. The gracious host serves breakfast. The exterior of the home is getting a completely new paint job - can’t wait to see the new colors! This is a place to stay for a memorable and comfortable visit with a nod to the 1880’s. Fort Plain has a setting of the early days of Upstate New York and there are several good eateries within walking distance We would definitely revisit this Bed and Breakfast "
