"Very good motel with nice staff. Clean, good-smelling room. I had everything I needed, and there was some beauty in it. Only downside was that the area outside of the motel felt slightly sketchy, but maybe that was to be expected of downtown at night (when I checked in)."

"Alan and Anne are fabulous hosts and the breakfasts are superb. Just be aware that this IS a 200-plus-year old house with nineteenth century quirkiness. If you prefer a sterile 21st century hotel do not stay here. If however, you appreciate the history and charm of a farmhouse which pre-dates the building of the Eire Canal, you will, like me, become a repeat visitor."
