"Very clean and comfortable room for one night, traveling through. Floors, carpet, bath, and furniture feel newly renovated. No frills stay -- one coffee urn in the lobby, stairs only to 2nd floor -- but well worth the savings. Really beautiful town to walk around, down to the river and canal as well as main parks, with vibrant small restaurants and cafes and art near the river/tow/bike paths. I'd definitely stay again."

"An excellent choice if you’re looking for a charming, low key motel with a lot of character. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice common room and a lovely porch to sit on to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Walking distance to the main strip where you’ll find a nice friendly, local bar."
