We had a great time at the red roof inn very clean and updated. The coffee options were top notch. Breakfast was good a clean but I wish there was a bit more options. Would 100% stay again

I stayed just one night at this Red Roof Inn to break up a longer trip. I had my dog with me and found it to be comfortable, affordable and convenient. It's close to the thruway and there is a gas station/ store nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Herkimer Red Roof. This was my second time staying at the property, and my fellow travelers first. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the grandkids LOVED the outdoor pool and had a blast! Only one minor downside, and its NOT the Red Roof's fault. It had been a couple of years since my last stay here, and since that time the Denny's next door closed hahaha. I would highly recommend this property for a one night stay, or even an extended one. Thank you!

Honestly shocked at how nice the inside was and the amount of space in the room. Staff was friendly and helped with any questions. Pool was awesome and extremely clean for being outdoors. Would stay there again for sure

The staff was very accommodating. We were first assigned to a room next to the highway; they moved us to one by a railroad. Gave a 4 instead of a 5 because of the noise. (I heard the train up until about 9:30 pm & a couple times before that.) Water seemed soft as my hair was really nice after washing it. Bed, comforter & pillows were very cozy. Breakfast was fantastic for a continental breakfast. Much to choose from. A bit of dust in shower edge & dirty along baseboard. If you can tolerate a bit of noise, go for it!

Staff was quite helpful and accommodating. Linens and towels were fresh and clean. AC and heat functioned well. Room was Eehh… beds were too big for the support frames and kept tipping off when sitting on the beds, debris (wrappers, used ear plugs, crumbs, etc) found under mattresses while placing them back on the foundations, dust / dirt on baseboards and window sills, bathroom ceiling was moldy, fan worked intermittently, shower head was nearly completely clogged (cleaned it myself), standing shower only and the curtain was not very efficient at keeping water in the shower, cleaned floor after every shower. Otherwise, it was a roof and a bed.

Our room was Spacious and the microwave was included in the kitchenette. Laundry area was clean and there was plenty of room even with two washers and four dryers. This made wash and drying faster. There was construction on the street so I didn’t like that and no street lights so it was a bit difficult to find.

When I first walked into the lobby I was impressed with the decor and cleanliness. We were greeted by the front desk clerk Laura, who was friendly and accommodating. Check in went smoothly and soon after, we headed for the pool. It was clean, private and had plenty of lounges to sit on. Breakfast and dining area was very nice, and the attendant Rachel was refilling items so we never ran out of anything! All in all I'm glad I chose this for our stay and feel comfortable recommending the Red Roof Inn, Herkimer location.
