「Hands down my favorite hotel during my trip. On the day of my check-in, I made dinner reservations and unfortunately I ran into car trouble so I was going to miss dinner hours by 20 minutes. 「This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.」

「Charming guesthouse facing the esplanade. Convenient to all amenities within a short walk. Communal kitchen was awesome. Fully stocked. Rooms were a good size. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Parking next to the building was £9 for the day or £1 per hour. 」

「Gracious hosts, incredibly comfortable room and charming place, especially decked out for Christmas. Parking was easy (and free) and this was helpful as we had a rental car. Once there, we were able to walk everywhere in Oban we wanted to go. Highly recommend staying here! 」

「Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.」
