A very convenient parking lot is just across the street from the hotel. The in room amenities were perfect. We never needed to drive as everything in town is just a short walk away. Delightful!

We were really impressed with the room we had. It was large, had a little kitchenette, and was very clean. We parked across the street very easily for £7.50 a day. It’s in a great spot to walk around and explore the town or get on a ferry. The owner was lovely.

Clean and very centrally located. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Room was clean but very limited and tight. Ceiling came down below my head level.

After realizing I had booked a "1 star" hotel, we were a little hesitant with our lodging choice but were pleasantly surprise upon arrival. The room at the Kelvin was the largest we had on our 3 week trip to UK with plenty of room for luggage. There was a small desk/table and chairs and was clean and well kept. There is a bar onsite which we did not visit. The hotel is conveniently located very near to the bus/train station and town. We only stayed one night and had no real interactions with staff. Would not hesitate to recommend for someone looking at lower cost lodging.

Great location by the ferry and town vendors. Room was clean but it was uncomfortable and a bit shoddy. It had plenty of electrical outlets much appreciated. Parking was directly in front of the at cost of less than £8.

The self check-in system was very well organized. Our room was very spacious and we could take out from the fish and chips shops to eat in the room. It is very near the train station and the ferry port. It is a great base from which to see the town.

While the decor needed a little upkeep (painters cauk eg) the location and facilities were good for a few days stay. Great views of the ferry port and couldn’t be handier for ferry/ train/bus anywhere
