「We loved the view of Lake Champlain and the quietness of the area. There was an event going on one night but they were gone by the time we returned around 7:30. Continental breakfast was good. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean and roomy for two people. I would return!」

「I loved everything. The ease of parking right outside of your room. The grounds were so pretty at night, kit up and a real fire pit. It was peaceful. Shelly and her staff were always available with any questions. I ate dinner the 1st night there and it was delicious and welcoming. I even extended my stay a night. 「Adorable place in a great spot for adventuring. Everything we needed for a few nights stay. Clean!! Room was a bit smaller than we anticipated but we that’s on us. Bigger options if you like to spread out. Super easy check in and out. 」

「It was a very clean property, they were always attentive to any problem, it is a very quiet area, I will book again at this place.」

「The property was very nice but there were no breakfast or lunch options for guests who stayed there during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant for dinner was delicious. 」

「We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. 」
