「The room was dirty, had nail clippings on the floor around the bed. Was charged an extra fee to keep my child in the room. I booked for 2 adults and 1 child but when I got to the hotel was told there would be an extra fee for the child my child to stay with my husband and I in the room that had double beds. They claimed the room was only 1 person per bed. Very unhappy with this. Of course I paid the extra fee because what was I supposed to do with my child. Worst place ever.」

「The room was clean, and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately, I booked a king-size room, but I was given a queen-size room without any prior notice. The staff told me that they would contact me later regarding the issue, but unfortunately, I never heard back from them. Overall, the stay was good, but I was disappointed with how this issue was handled.」

「We loved our stay at 16 Elm. The hotel is really a converted mansion that has been meticulously maintained and decorated. It is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed spending time in the common areas, sipping coffee in the mornings and relaxing in the living room in the evenings. The town of Trumansburg is just a few steps away, with its lively Main Street and fun restaurants. It is well situated as a base for exploring the area’s outdoor attractions and wineries.
