The room was nice and large but nothing great. The bathroom was updated nicely. The halls were smelly from many years of smoking! Carpets should be replaced, same with washing and painting the walls. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed! I expected a grand old historic hotel!

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and had everything we needed. There were several restaurants within walking distance. We were a bit sad that the in hotel restaurant was closed, but overall great place.

Lovely room, clean modern and comfortable. Beds super comfy. A/C worked well. Bathroom spacious and clean. Room a bit snug (two Queen sized beds), with only a desk. No chair/couch for sitting. Otherwise, quiet and a great stay.

Tata welcomed us and checked us in at 1 a.m., late, late arrival due to plane delay. Before that, David was incredibly helpful because of the delay. I felt welcomed from the first step into the hotel. There was a chandelier in my room!

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the cute decor and good location. The hotel's website says they have a restaurant and luxurious pillow-top mattresses. The restaurant is closed. Our hard mattress is on my top ten list of worst hotel mattresses. Traffic noise from the street was awful. The water pressure in the shower was like getting sprinkled with a garden watering can. But the worst thing was the toilet that needed plunged repeatedly to get it to flush.

Welcome to the Historic Gould Hotel in downtown Seneca Falls. Quaint and quiet rooms each with comfortable beds, mini-fridge and located just minutes away from the Del Lago Casino and Entertainment Complex. Relive history as you stroll down historic Main Street, see the National Woman’s Rights Historic Park and dine in one of the fine eateries located just footsteps away. Always a value and a pleasant reprieve from the norm - make it a weekend adventure and catch your favorite band at Del Lago for 1/3 the cost.

Best hotel we’ve been to. We loved the historic feel of the place, the vintage bathrooms and dual heat/ac unit. Terrie at the front desk was the nicest woman we’ve ever met at a hotel; extremely welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean and smelled nice. The parking was so easy and close to walk. We will absolutely be back!! Thanks for everything!
