"This place is paradise in the jungle. An amazing, smiling and very helpful owner and her sweet staff make your stay memorable. Breakfast, dinner and drinks are available except Sundays at a very reasonable additional cost. Eat there! The grounds and outdoor showers are jewels. Book this place and look no further. Only about 25 min easy drive into San Ignacio. "

"Our stay was AMAZING!! Mark made our visit so personal and warm, he’s the best. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to my friend’s dietary needs. I would recommend Vanilla Hills over and over again. We stayed in the large villa and had so much space and privacy. The infinity pool was perfect, and there’s a walkable river access we went to as well! There’s tons to see and do on the property as well as nearby. Our stay was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "

"This is a beautiful property and the staff were wonderful. The dining on the property was really good as well. You can book all excursions through them. Drinkable tap water was nice. Beautiful rooms and property. Please keep in mind you are in the jungle so big beetles/bugs can make it into your room. You Also can be woken up in the middle of night by loud animal noises. I thought it made the experience pretty cool but it did freak me out the first time. Would recommend and stay here again."

"Magic! My wife and I spent 7 nights in an incredible river view cabana. Everything exceeded my already high expectations. The staff were exceptional, the grounds beautiful, the meals were wonderful and the excursions and adventures unforgettable. "An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!"
